Bởi vì HanoiLUG không phải một tổ chức chính thức, chỉ là tên gọi của một nhóm người dùng, hoặc quan tâm đến Linux tại Hà Nội, cho nên không có khái niệm phải gia nhập HanoiLUG như có thể gia nhập vào một hội quần chúng nào đó !

Chỉ có khái niệm tham gia các hoạt động của HanoiLUG là đủ để có thể tự coi là thành viên của HanoiLUG !

Có nhiều cách để tham gia sinh họat của HanoiLUG như sau :

• Đăng ký vào mailing-list tại đây để đặt câu hỏi và góp ý kiến
• Đăng ký tên vào web site của HanoiLUG tại đây để góp ý một cách không phải là vô danh.
• Tham gia các cuộc họp định kỳ của HanoiLUG. Bạn có thể tham khảo nội dung dự kiến và ngày họp sắp tới ở đây !
• Tham gia cùng các thành viên HanoiLUG khác để thực hiện các đêmô về Linux
• etc.

Because HanoiLUG is only the name of an informal group, it means that there is no formal way to join HanoiLUG ! You just need to participate to HanoiLUG‘s activities to be able to call yourself a member of HanoiLUG !

You can participate HanoiLUG activities in several ways :

• You can join the mailing list here, ask relevant questions and contribute answers.
• You can register yourself with this wiki here and contribute ideas to the HanoiLUG‘s web site.
• You can come to the regular meetings of HanoiLUG. Look here to know about the next meeting !
• You can gather with other HanoiLUG‘s members to set-up demonstrations of Linux topics.
• etc.

Some Ideas of participation

• Look for Free Software and Open source events in Vietnam and post it on the web at this address (ask david at david [at] ngowiki [dot] net to have the right to post on it)
• Help maintain the wiki by adding, translating content to it. The links sections is probably a good target to start with links
